Register of applications and permissions to remain on tracts as tenants at will, 1814-1822.

Register summarizes applications received from individuals desiring to remain on tracts of land as tenants at will under acts of Congress of March 3, 1807 and March 25, 1816. Entries for each application generally include application date and number; applicant name and residence (1818- ); and tract legal description. Application numbers are entered on appropriate tract in township plats contained in front of volume. Also included are several depositions and proofs of settlement taken in support of applications.
